• DUʿĀʾ — The greatest day for duʿāʾ in the entire year. The veil between you and Allah is at its thinnest.
• FAST 🌙 — Expiates TWO full years of sins — the year before and the year after. (Sahih Muslim 1162)
• BEST DUʿĀʾ — Lā ilāha illAllāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa-huwa ʿalā kulli shayʾin qadīr.
• DON'T ✂️ — Do not cut hair or nails from 1st Dhul Hijjah if you plan to perform Qurbani.

Qurbani Rules

• WHEN — 10th–13th Dhul Hijjah (Wed May 27 – Sat May 30)
• ANIMALS — 🐑 Lamb/Goat: 1 per individual · 🐄 Cow: 1 share of 7 per individual
• NISAB — Required if you own ≥ 612g silver (or 87.48g gold) above basic needs
• NOTE — Each qualifying adult in the household must give their own Qurbani — one goat/lamb does NOT cover the whole family.

Your Own Sacrifice

"It is reported that the Prophet ﷺ himself performed the slaughter with his own hand. Being present and witnessing your Qurbani is the most virtuous form of the act."

✅ BEST — We highly recommend you come to our North Canton facility, select your own lamb or goat, and perform or witness the sacrifice yourself.

✅ ALSO OK — If you cannot attend, Hand Zabiha LLC will perform the Qurbani on your behalf with full intention made in your name by a trained Muslim butcher.

• PACE — 1 Zabiha every 10 minutes — inshāʾ Allāh. We will run a structured, efficient schedule so everyone gets their time.

• YOUR TIME — We will contact you via WhatsApp or text with your approximate arrival time. Please be on time — slots are given in 10-minute intervals.

• PRICING — 🐑🐐 Lamb & Goat: ~$4/lb live weight. Prices are high and rising — final price based on actual live weight at time of purchase.

• REQUIRED — Full prepayment required only if Hand Zabiha is performing the Zabiha on your behalf. If you are performing your own Zabiha on May 27th, payment is due on the day.
• CUTTING — Prepayment required if you want Hand Zabiha to cut your meat into pieces. Cutting fees: $35–$60 depending on size & style.

Beef Share Details

• ANGUS — $650 – $700 per share (1/7 of full cow). ~800 lbs hanging weight · includes cutting & vacuum packing.
• NON-ANGUS — ~$550 per share (1/7 of full cow). ~750 lbs hanging weight · price may increase.
• CUTTING — Standard cut: steak, roast, ground beef, etc. Beef cannot be cut into biryani pieces.
• TIMELINE — Allow at least 1 week after Zabiha for cutting and vacuum packaging. You will be messaged via WhatsApp once your meat is ready.
• PAY — Full prepayment via Zelle to handzabiha@gmail.com.

What To Do
These 10 Days

• Fast all 9 days (or as many as possible)
• Revive the Takbeer aloud — in streets & masjid
• Perform Qurbani (10th–13th Dhul Hijjah)
• Give extra Sadaqah — every deed is multiplied
• Make abundant Dhikr — Tasbih, Tahmid, Takbir
• Read Qur'an and reflect deeply
• Seek forgiveness with sincere Tawbah
• Make Duʿāʾ especially on the Day of ʿArafah
• Do not cut hair/nails if intending Qurbani
